Transportation Grants

Millions of dollars in grants and cooperative agreements are offered each year by the Department of Transportation. Transportation Grants are earmarked with expressed goal of assisting in construction, design, and planning of transportation improvements. Grants are generally awarded to local and state governments with some aid directed to universities and nonprofits. A smaller amount of aid is allocated for alternative transportation developments.
