Nutrition Grants

The Federal government spends billions on nutritional assistance each year. Federal Food Assistance programs offer alternatives to food stamps. Grants are awarded to programs that aid and assist low-income households with food. Many of the programs try to reverse the notion of food stamp relief as hand-outs - by valuing elements of work incentives to develop self-sufficiency.
