Housing Grants

Housing and Urban Development, HUD, was created to solve urban housing problems. In the past HUD offered incentives to depressed urban areas, but this job has largely been handed off to the states. Housing grants usually go towards subsidies for housing and other initiatives like homelessness programs and shelters that target the most vulnerable in our community.
