Grant writing is simply the completion of an application known as a grant proposal. An effective proposal pairs the needs of the grant makers with the mission of the applicants. It is important to do in-depth research and make sure you are applying to the grant initiative that best aligns with your goals. And then it's critical to articulate a well thought through proposal. Grant writing is competitive and there are some grant writing professionals who have skills that might be worthwhile employing. However, if funds are limited you may be able to convince a grant writer to edit your proposal at the end of the process for less money.
